Our Bespoke Design Service allows you to create a truly unique piece of jewellery. We will spend one-to-one time with you to help you design a piece of ethical jewellery that is symbolic and meaningful to you and your loved one. Taking your ideas and inspiration and turning it into your dream forever ring.
Each bespoke journey is unique so pricing is based each individual commission and prices start from just £2,500.
The Process
6 - 12 WEEKS
We don’t have a sales team, we have a small, passionate concierge who have a bank of knowledge and experience in jewellery design. There’s nothing they love more than helping you design something that is utterly exquisite and unique to you, helping you turn your ideas into something tangible you will treasure forever (and being equally excited for the end result!)
They're also here to guide with finger sizing, delivery options, financing and anything else to make your journey with us as straightforward as possible.
No consultation costs, just a helping hand either online or in person in our showroom.
Consultation
Whether you have a clear idea or are still looking for inspiration, we offer free consultations with our dedicated Bespoke team. We recommend getting in touch around 6-10 weeks before you would like your jewellery delivered.
We will work closely with you throughout the process to discuss the feasibility, materials and elements which will make up your dream design as well as your budget and timeline. This can be done via an in-person consultation, a virtual appointment, or any of our other contact methods such as WhatsApp.
Design Build
To get started, we will require a small deposit of £300, which is deducted from your final quote.
We will then create one or more computer generated renderings to bring your ideas to life. The renderings will be very life-like and will show you how your dream piece could look once made.
Don't worry, as can tweak and make small changes to the rendering and create a revised image for you. We can also produce a full render pack with a 3D video for an extra charge which will be added to your final bill.
Ready to go ahead
Once you have confirmed your rendering and would like to move forward with a gemstone, we will require a minimum 50% payment to secure the gemstone for you and to begin crafting your bespoke piece. We will keep you updated every step of the way and once your bespoke design is ready, we will be in touch to coordinate shipping or collection.
Completion
Once your piece has been completed, only at this stage do we request the final balance payment.
Your beautifully finished bespoke piece is then thoroughly inspected and will be ready to be securely shipped to you in one of our Forever Boxes and discreet luxury packaging.

Our lab-grown diamonds are all Type IIa, which is the purest, known for their exceptional whiteness and brilliance.
We also offer Sustainably Rated lab-grown diamonds, sourced from carefully selected, licensed growers committed to ethical and environmentally responsible practices. You can feel good knowing your diamond is both beautiful and sustainable.
All of our lab grown diamonds are certified by globally recognised gem grading institutes, IGI & GIA.
The Ethica Diamond® premium moissanite has a diamond infusion that is produced using advanced and patented gemstone technology.
It is comparable in strength, durability and aesthetics to diamond and is the only moissanite available to be independently certified by the IGI.
Want to add some colour?
All of our Sapphires, Rubies, Emeralds, and Alexandrites are created using the Flux Fusion method which generates optimal brilliance and light return for the highest quality gems.
We also offer fancy coloured lab grown diamonds and coloured Ethica Diamond moissanites, which are extremely durable and resistant to scratching.

If you like one of our Ethica designs but it would be simply perfect if a slight tweak could be made, we can modify the design for you.
Changes to the stone shape, stone type or band can be made – just let us know what you would like to alter and we can find a way to make it happen!
Wedding Band
We will create a wedding band exactly how you want it to look next to your engagement ring or we will help you design a special wear alone wedding band.
We can also discuss the options for a specially shaped wedding band and we will make sure it fits perfectly with your existing ring.

Frequently Asked Questions
I am not sure if I need to customise my ring. Where do I start?
We offer relaxed and friendly, no obligation design consultations either face to face in our showroom or virtually in the comfort of your own home. So if you are not sure if what you have in mind needs to be necessarily custom made, our Concierge Specialist can guide you through the various options to help you to achieve your unique piece of jewellery.
What should I have ready for my no obligation design consultation?
Before your design consultation it would be great if you could have a few things ready. Firstly, you’ve probably taken a look at other rings and have already seen some that you like. It would be helpful if you could share any information on styles/designs with us so we can discuss the elements that you like.
Other considerations include metal type, finger size, carat weight or stone size, preferred stone shape and budget. Our Concierge Specialist will guide you through all of these questions during your appointment and then decide if we need to fully customise or semi customise your commission.
How long does it take to create my own ring?
Production itself takes an estimated 21 business days. But the majority of the custom made process comes before, and it is dependent on how certain you are about what you want and the complexity of the design. Most designs take 2-5 days to complete with our Concierge Specialist, by a few emails and/or phone calls. Once you’ve approved your final design, our skilled team will start the process of bringing your ring to life. This typically takes around eight weeks, but may be longer depending on your design. You’ll be kept updated of your ring’s expected completion date and its progress throughout each stage.
Do I have to pay upfront?
Creating your custom piece with Ethica Diamonds requires just a small deposit of £300 to get started. This fee is non-refundable but is applied toward your final order total. You can pay either directly by visiting our Jewellery Services or directly with us by bacs transfer. This fee is offset from your personal quotation.
50% of the balance will become payable before your ring goes into production and the remaining balance before dispatch. Our preferred method of payment is by bacs transfer for customised jewellery.
Can I make changes to my CAD before you produce my ring?
Yes, you'll have the opportunity to make adjustments to your CAD design. Any major design changes are subject to additional fees and assessed on a case-by-case basis. However, these costs will be presented for approval prior to proceeding. Please note that additional design fees are non-refundable.
What happens after I have paid my deposit?
Once the Bespoke Deposit is paid, our design team will begin work on your commission. You will receive 3D CAD images of your design concept approximately 4 days after your order is confirmed.
